I bought this on Amazon because I read a bunch of reviews on other websites (cnet, ect.) and they all recommend it. I’ve had many digital cameras, fujifilm 4800 (from 2001), this is my 3rd canon elph. the first was a 6mp 630s (sold long ago) and it was very good. I then bought the canon 790IS which is very good too (still have it), I then bought a samsung NV24 because it was basically the first point and shoot with HD video (720p), Then I got this last week and played around and I’ve come to the conclusion this is an AMAZING tiny camera. The picture quality for a small camera is incredible (12.1 MP). I have to say the outdoor pictures can almost rival my Canon 40D and Rebel T2i at low ISO. Video is very good too. The 1080p is excellent (even though it is only 24 fps) This is the point and shoot to get if you want the best out there for under $200.
