Overall I like the new camera and it meets my needs. It is a little difficult not being able to immediatly review the pictures taken but then that is also part of the appeal at least for me. I like and wanted something I could set up and forget about while it records my activities.
So far, the videos haven’t been great but adequate. This may be operator error as I haven’t explored some of the other settings. For example, I took a video of a sea lion from my kayak at about 50 yards and you really couldn’t see the sea lion. Also, a large sailboat with cool paint passed by but when I reviewed the video it just looked like a large sailboat.

Transferring the pics to a computer is a snap – no special software involved. I love this since for me this is 1/2 the battle with the digital cameras.
